The documented foundation
The Puerto Rico Department of State record identifies a domestic nonprofit corporation formed on February 7, 1973, under registration number 6693. The certificate reproduced below gives its bilingual name as Universidad de los Pueblos de las Americas – Peoples University of the Americas, Inc.
Incorporation is a corporate registration. The historical certificate does not establish present good standing, tax-exempt status, accreditation, or authority to award degrees.
